Begin the journey by driving through farmland where you can see the Mennonite community of Upper Barton Creek and experience their traditional lifestyle. Upon reaching Barton Creek, you will board your canoe and paddle into the remote Barton Creek Cave. Glide into a hidden cave entrance that’s surrounded by water and explore a deep series of passages that were sacred to the ancient Maya. Use your headlight to illuminate crystal formations and dangling stalactites and learn about the cave’s ceremonial history. Following your cave adventure will be a delicious local lunch.

After lunch you make your way to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in all of Belize - Big Rock.  A 150-foot natural beauty that is perfect for a refreshing swim in its clear deep waters.  Take big jumps or lounge on the rocks and enjoy the sounds of the rushing water. It's a true off-the-beaten path gem!
