Combine cave tubing at Nohoch Che'en, aka Caves Branch with a stop at the Belize Zoo.
Caves Branch River flows continuously through 5 different caves. After the second cave, the river goes underground for a short segment only to re-emerge and continue into the third cave. The river flows unbroken through each cave tunnel, like a freeway tunnel you drive through. From the entrance of the first cave to the exit of the last cave is approximately 4.5 miles (7km).
Depending on the group, weather and/or time of year a stop at the Zoo will either be before or after cave tubing. While visiting the Zoo you come up close to monkeys, jaguars, tapirs, and rare and endangered birds, such as the Scarlet Macaw. Belize Zoo is one of the few zoos in the world which works solely with rehabilitated, or injured, animals that call Belize their home.
